This tool is perfect for introducing students to the concept of telling time and using a traditional analog clock. You and your students can enter any time of the day by using the plus and minus buttons, or simply by dragging the hands of the clock. You can go to the settings by clicking the gear icon on the bottom-left corner of the clock. Here, you can adjust the amount of time that the clock moves forward or back when you click the plus or minus buttons.
Teaching tip
Invite a student up to the Interactive Whiteboard to better visualize how to read a clock. Try changing up the minutes per step to show how the hand of the clock moves forward at a greater rate but still in a repeating pattern.
