Understanding cause and effect and the logical progression of events is a subtle but important skill for students to learn. Our Sequence Story activity gives students a fun way to learn these concepts. This activity includes 12 scenarios, each of which includes four pictures that have been scrambled. By analyzing what is happening in the story and four pictures, students are tasked with sequencing the pictures in the correct order.
Teaching tips
We strongly encourage educators to invite students up to the board to sequence the pictures themselves. All twelve scenarios should be easily recognizable to students of any age. To reveal the correct order of the pictures, go to the next page.
