Students will be able to recognize and print the letter Qq, as well as determine if a word has an Qq sound.
Students will match uppercase letters they've previously learned to their animal guides to reveal their animal guide, Quincy the Quokka They will review how to write the letter Pp.
Quincy the Quokka will have his friend, Max, demonstrate how to write the letter Qq. Students will then practice writing uppercase and lowercase Qq on the board and on their own paper. Two students can race to complete a puzzle that makes the letter Qq.
Students will then practice pronouncing words with Qq sounds. They will get to name as many words that start with the Qq as they can think of! They’ll also get to use their letter Qq knowledge to complete a fun activity that will help Quincy the Quokka get back to his home.
Review the letter Qq with 10 questions on identifying and writing the letter Qq.
Students will review how to write the letter Kk and then decorate the Qq. Challenge your students with an 8-piece puzzle!
