Students will be able to recognize and print the letter Nn, as well as determine if a word has an Nn sound.
To reveal the guide for the lesson, students will delete all words that start with Mm. They will review how to write the letter Mm.
Nia the Narwhal will have Max demonstrate how to write the letter Nn. Students will then practice writing uppercase and lowercase Nn on the board and on their own paper. Two students can race to complete a puzzle that makes the letter Nn.
Students will then practice and pronounce Nn sounds. They will get to name as many words that start with the letter Nn as they can think of! They’ll also get to use their letter Nn knowledge to complete a fun activity that will help Nia the Narwhal by keeping her and her family from sinking to the bottom of the ocean.
Review the letter Nn with 10 questions on identifying and writing the letter Nn.
Students will review how to write the letter Nn and then decorate the letter Nn.
