This lesson will help students learn how to recognize and print the letter Ff. Students follow Fred the Fox through the lesson.

Students will be able to recognize and print the letter Ff, as well as determine if a word has an Ff sound.
Students review the letters they've learned so far and drag those letters to a puzzle. By doing so they reveal Fred the Fox, their guide for the letter Ff. Students are then asked to write the upper and lowercase Ee. You may choose to have students do this on their own sheets of paper or to ask a few students to come to the board to demonstrate writing the letter.
Have students drag the Ff's to Fred's books to finish the titles. Fred will then ask his assistant, Max, to write the letter Ff in the air. Have students do this along with Max. Have them practice a few times. Students will then practice writing uppercase and lowercase Ff on the board and on their own paper. Two students can complete a puzzle to find Fred a toy.
Students will then practice and pronounce Ff sounds. Ask students if they can determine which letter belongs at the start of each of the given words. Have the class determine if they need an uppercase or lowercase Ff. How do they decide? Students will then practice identifying Ff sounds in words. Have students help Fred go to the bookstore by following a path of words with Ff.
Review the letter Ff with 10 questions on identifying the letter Ff. They must do so by clicking the letter Ff within words, within sentences, and by only selecting the upper or lowercase Ff. They are then asked to identify if the letter Ff is in a given word.
Students will review how to write the letter Ff, and them they will decorate the letter Ff.
