In this lesson, students will compare quantities and say which has more or less. They will also decide if there are enough objects for a group of students.

Learning objective
Students will be able to compare quantities from 1 to 10 and say when a quantity is more or less.
Introduction
Students will identify where they see 4 ladybugs and count how many circles they see. They can compare quantities to know which quantity has more or less.
Instruction
Students will identify which of the two groups has more hedgehogs. They will count the frogs and decide which group has more. They will also do this with dots on dice. Then, they will have to compare three groups of objects. They will also decide if there are enough colored pencils for a group of students.
Guided Practice
There will be 10 questions where students will decide which group has more objects.
Closing
Students will draw marbles to make a group that has more marbles than the group shown. Then they will play a game rolling dice with a partner and seeing who rolled a higher number.
